ABSTRACT
A new location is always
exciting but inconvenient if people find it difficult to locate the places they
need to visit. If a person needs to know the information about a location, it
will be difficult for him to get the information at that moment of time. A new
place has always in its store lots of things to offer for the visitors to
explore but the problem is – where to start, how to find, and at last where to
reach? Keeping in mind the needs of the people to a new place, this project has
been experimented to provide the user with reliable and genuine information of
the required location. With this application the user can access the details of
the places, accommodation facilities, the packaged tours available and the
online reservation facilities through net.
It is very much common that people want to visit the places according to
their wish and different people have different interests. That is, in every
place so many things to see but some people like some places and they don’t
want to visit other places. If the facilities provided don’t meet their
requirement, they may not be enthusiastic and because of that they may not be
able to visit their interesting places at the level of their interest. To avoid
this problem, we have introduced an option which allows the tourist to
customize his own tour. In the existing system, static maps are provided if the
user wants the routes which are not mapped previously in the static map. It
will not possible. To avoid this problem, dynamic routes are provided.
In our system user accounts
are maintained and user can login to their accounts using their id and
password. In the case of previous system, the acknowledgements are sent through
the mails. There is no other communication facility. For any reason if the user
did not get the e-mail, it is very difficult to get the information further. We
introduce spot acknowledgement facility and the user can check the reservation
details from their respective accounts as those are stored in their personal
accounts.
