Hand Character Recognition

ABSTRACT

The project titled “HANDWRITTEN_TOREVIEWis designed using .NET with Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005 as front end which works in .Net framework version 2.0. The coding language used is C# .Net.
This project deals with developing an artificial neuron and creating a neural network, make it learn using some algorithm to identify Hand written characters. This application consists of a 'Controls' component which provides 'Drawing Box' and 'Letter Box' controls, and also defines a set of classes which can be used to develop applications which require handwritten (mouse-drawn) images as inputs. The 'OCR' component makes use of created ANN and the 'Controls' component to recognize mouse-drawn capital letters of English alphabet.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

This Software is   used is to recognize the handwritten English character by using neural network. The handwritten characters have infinite variety of style varying from person to person. Due to this wide range of variability, it is very difficult for a machine to recognize a handwritten character.
For example: Handwriting terminals such as the Pencept Penpad and the Inforite point-of-sale terminal. With the advent of the large consumer market for personal computers, several commercial products were introduced to replace the keyboard and mouse on a personal computer with a single pointing/handwriting system, such as those from PenCept, CIC and others.

PROBLEM IN EXISTING SYSTEM

Currently, in the market there is no software that runs on both PC and PDA/Smart phone which can detect the face in a picture with very minimal changes.  If we take desktop level applications that detect the face, the applications are based on some comparison algorithm which runs on some standard logic whose pattern matching capabilities and success rates are fixed. If the software needs a fine tuning, the logic has to be modified and the code needs to be rebuilt which is again expensive.

E-BIDDING

ABSTRACT
Auctions are among the Latest economic institutions in place. They have been used since antiquity to sell a wide variety of goods, and their basic form has remained unchanged. In this dissertation, we explore the efficiency of common auctions when values are interdependent- the value to a particular bidder may depend on information available only to others-and asymmetric. In this setting, it is well known that sealed-bid auctions do not achieve efficient allocations in general since they do not allow the information held by different bidders to be shared.
Typically, in an auction, say of the kind used to sell art, the auctioneer sets a relatively low initial price. This price is then increased until only one bidder is willing to buy the object, and the exact manner in which this is done varies. In my model a bidder who drops out at some price can “reenter” at a higher price.
With the invention of E-commerce technologies over the Internet the opportunity to bid from the comfort of ones own home has seen a change like never seen before.  Within the span of a few short years, what may have began as an experimental idea has grown to an immensely popular hobby, and in some cases, a means of livelihood, the Auction Patrol gathers tremendous response everyday, all day.  With the point and click of the mouse, one may bid on an item they may need or just want, and in moments they find that either they are the top bidder or someone else wants it more, and you’re outbid!  The excitement of an auction all from the comfort of home is a completely different experience.
Society cannot seem to escape the criminal element in the physical world, and so it is the same with Auction Patrols.  This is one area wherein a question can be raised as to how safe Auction Patrols.
Existing System
Present system is manual. The Project Metrics has to enter all the details of project, documents, and tasks. It also maintenance the team information and also efforts estimation. For this purpose the organization maintain the size of the document, source code and update the information about team member’s details   manually. Which is much of time consuming process and more importantly it is error prone. Limitations Of the Manual system
  1. It is time consuming
  2. It leads to error prone results
  3. It consumes lot of manpower to better results
  4. It lacks of data security
  5. Retrieval of data takes lot of time
  6. Percentage of accuracy is less
  7. Reports take time to produce

Hence Computerization of the existing system is proposed. The new system completely removes all manual burdens and provide efficient on the entry system.

  Proposed system

  Objectives Of the Proposed System

  1. To generate the quick reports
  2. To make accuracy and efficient calculations
  3. To provide proper information briefly
  4. To provide data security
  5. To provide huge maintenance of records
  6. Flexibility of transactions can be completed in time
After understanding the existing system and understanding the need for developing a new system different people involved in the related activities have been consulted. The data needed for the study has been collected from company records.
The computerization of this system would avoid the wrong interpretation and bad calculation of data .The system help the user to see any documents, source code, tasks, activities, team information with details at the click of a button. The record data is maintained and backed up such a way that data is not loss. The speed of the system could also increased.
The general description gives an "executive overview" and is very client-oriented. It expounds on the functional and data requirements of the application. It also lists the limitations, assumptions and dependencies of the application. Section 3.0, the specific   requirements section, includes   the developers’   technical view   of   the   client's expectation   of   the   application.   It   also   touches   on   the   performance   and   quality requirements of the application and provides a solid definition of the interface
The entire system is divided into 2 major modules
                   1. Admin
                  2. Buyer
1. Admin: Adminstrator matins Products details and category details and also matins Buyer details and Buyer reports and Sub category details and Buyer registrations and Reports.
2. Buyer: In this module Buyer New Registration’s and product details and Buyer reports and Buyer bid details

ee World Recipe

1.    Title of the project:  World Recipe
2.    Abstract of the project:
World Recipe is an ASP.NET 2.0 C# N-Tier application and SQL 2005 Database with stored procedure to contain and display recipes in a wide variety of Categories, also allow your visitors to post their favorite recipes, rate recipe and add comment. You can edit/delete recipes or comments in a password protected admin recipe manager area. Source code and installation instructions are included.

  1.  Existing System:

Scheduling is a process, which is exercised in a firm or any organization for assigning task to the moving executives of any level of hierarchy. This process includes the appointments of executives either official or personal. For fixing an appointment for a particular executive it should be known whether that related employee is free at that time or not, to do so the related executive should be in Interaction or he should be met through other sources. Thus a lot of time needs to be spent. And after that the related executive should be told that the time is fixed. So for this alone a lot of time is spent and wasted. This scene is for only fixing of appointments. What about the process when the schedule is postponed or cancelled? To do this task again the whole cycle is to be followed resulting in again waste of time.
In this step, we provide detailed description End users for this application are Administrators & visitors.

Draw backs
As seen clearly a lot time is spent and much afford is made for only fixing a schedule. In a firm, which is, growing this task should be minimum and should be fast. But the present system does not support this. And if the appointment is postponed or cancelled the task is much more hectic. As the process is not online and computerized it takes much time in Interaction the employee only and done manually.

  1. Proposed System:

The system, which was developed now, makes this process of scheduling much easier and computerized. By this system the manager or top level designated employee can fix the schedule of the executive working under him, he even can check whether the executive is free in the particular time or in other times. Thus the top level management can easily schedule the tasks and even can change the appointment which is reflected immediately to the related employee avoiding direct Interaction of the employee resulting in saving lot of time and work overhead.

  1. Modules:

There will be a World recipe home page where there will be a registration link as well as a login screen is available.
There are three types of users in the system
ü  Administrator
ü  Visitor module

MODULE DESCRIPTION:
This “world Recipe” project involves 2 modules:

Administrator: Administrator is capable of maintaining the Information i.e. edit/delete Recipes and view/delete Comments. And he can Post the Articles.

Visitor: visitors to post their favorite recipes, rate recipe and add comment. And

He can send the emails to his friends
