Fujji Distribution


Abstract

This project will give you full information about the company and it’s products. The system also is an interactive and user friendly one. The system is flexible enough to cope up with the changing trends of the company.


            The system provides an easy way of selecting a particular transmitter and is able to give an easy way of selecting the properties from the specifications of a particular type of transmitter. There should be no difficulty for the user to generate the Quotation for the selected code or filling up the order form.  The system provides the interface for the database backup i.e. the company wants to change, modify and update any information.
This project is having four modules
                        1. Administrative Module
            2. Transmitters Module
            3. Process Module
4. Customer Module.
1. Administrative Module
                    This module mainly deals with creation of different users and all the updations regarding the stocks of the different Transmitters and also
Upgrading the features of the different Transmitters

2. Transmitter Module
            This module gives the details of Seven Transmitters and their features

·         Absolute pressure transmitter
·         Pressure transmitter
·         Remote seal type transmitter
·         Differential pressure transmitter
·         Remote seal type differential transmitter
·         Flow transmitter
·         Level transmitter

The most important specification in all these is the static pressure and span limit. Only static pressure and the span limit do not have any defaults. The user needs to enter the values. Remaining all is assigned to default values.
3. Process Module
               In this, module deals with process of the quotation submitted by the customer and generating the code.

            Each of these Model Specification is further divided into two different transmitters. Based on the type of the transmitter, they are named as ‘A-series’ or ‘C-series’ there are fifteen set of specifications and each specification contains set of properties. Combination of properties that are derived from each specification defines the actual transmitter. Each property in a specification corresponds to a particular code. The code corresponding to the property from each specification is taken into a table. After generation of the code the quotation is prepared.

Customer Module:
                        This module stores the details of all the customers for future contacts of the company. The details given by the customer in entry login by Registering in the site will be stored in the Company database.
             The entire system is made available around the world through internet. The system is generated with the MVC architecture using servlets, JSP concepts in java. Servlets are most powerful concept of java using which we can make the system global, also we can directly access the database from servlets.
         One of the advantages of the servlet is that we can use HTML and JAVASCRIPT to the maximum extent. Using HTML we can make the front end look beautiful and attractive, we need to use the backend as ORACLE server, which in possible with JDBC



                                    PROBLEM ANALYSIS

System Analysis is first stage according to System Development Life Cycle model. This System Analysis is a process that starts with the analyst.
            Analysis is a detailed study of the various operations performed by a system and their relationships within and outside the system.  One aspect of analysis is defining the boundaries of the system and determining whether or not a candidate should consider other related systems.  During analysis, data is collected from the available files, decision points, and transactions handled by the present system.
               Logical system models and tools are used in analysis.  Training, experience, and common sense are required for collection of the information needed to do the analysis.
 Existing System
                                                                One of the major products of the company are transmitters, pressure transmitters are widely used in the industrial sector. They are one of the leading companies in Asia in manufacturing these transmitters and have a wide market around the world.
                            There are seven different types of pressure transmitters:
                                          Absolute pressure transmitter.
                                          Pressure transmitter.
                                          Remote seal type transmitter.
                                          Differential pressure transmitter.
Remote seal type differential pressure transmitter.
Flow transmitter.
Level transmitter.

                                              Each of these seven transmitters is further divided into two different transmitter is further divided into two different transmitters. After generation of the entire code the quotation is prepared.
                                                                  The entire process is very complicated lengthy and tedious. Moreover marketing personnel need to carry a hefty manual to refer to the code.
Due to the increasing demand for the product around the world through manual approach of the company was unable to satisfy all the customers. So they approached CS software Enterprise Limited to develop the system, which makes the entire process easier and flexible. So that they can satisfy all the customers and also meet the increasing global demand for their products. The  system developed had to be available throughout the world in internet.

   Proposed System
                 We need to develop a system, which will give full information about the company and its products. The system also is an interactive and user-friendly one .The system is flexible enough to cope up with the changing trends of the company.              
                  The system provides an easy way of selecting a particular transmitter and also is able to give an easy way of selecting the properties from the specifications of a particular type of transmitter. There should be no difficulty for the user to generate the Quotation for the selected database. The system provides the interface for the database backup i.e. if the company wants to change, modify and update any information.

Flow of the system
1.      The home page contains all the information about the company and their products. There is also a provision for the clients of company to sign up with it on the network. A signed up client is given a unique login and password facility so that the same client can use the unique login and password facility next time they log onto it . For this purpose we have kept a sign up button to the lift of the home page. We have also placed another button “more “which allows the clients to navigate to another page, which contains the list of all the products available.
2.      There is a menu placed which helps the client to navigate to either of the selected products i.e., transmitter menu. There is also a button placed namely “Back “to allow the client to go back to the home page if he is interested. This menu contains seven different types of transmitters.
3.      There is a menu for each Transmitter. Each one contains two-sub menu for ‘A-series’ and ‘C-series’ respectively.
4.      There is an interface, which provides the user the flexibility of selecting properties from different specifications and also generates the corresponding code.
5.      After generation of code the user gets a displayed Quotation for the transmitter, which corresponds, to the generated.
6.      User is at ease in filling up the order form from which the user can give the full information about his requirements regarding the product.
7.      There is also a provision given to the company, to change any information in order to meet their current requirements
