Hotel management System



                                We are accommodating 3 star Hotel with 4 star facilities, well appointed with 57 standard rooms, 12 Deluxe Rooms, 24 Executive Rooms, 9 Large Suites to accommodate various grades of people.

Facilities:

            Centrally air-conditioned, Direct dialing for local calls, STD facility, Locker facility, Shopping Arcade, Business Lounge, Foreign Currency Exchange counter, Cable TV and Channel Music. It has four restaurants, and six venues for banquet.

Requirements:
            A person can approach the Banquet as an individual or as a corporate body. His approach is to book a space for an event-A Birthday party, a reception or a kitty party. The  person can represent a corporate body which is interested in booking the space for the purpose of seminars, annual general meeting or any event. The criteria is how many people are expected. Depending on the space available on the day of the event and timeslot required, the venue is booked and then the menu for food is selected. The menu selection can be package type which costs of various types and the prices are added depending on the number of people attending the event. The payment can be by cash

Booking Information:
            Here the visitor would like to make booking as a corporate body or as an individual.

Select category:
            You can select a category from the list. A customer can be corporate or an individual. The Corporate or individual can have a CUSTOM type or PACKAGE type selection.
            A CUSTOM type can make any number of selections from the menu and can order whatever quantity he needs.
            A PACKAGE type has a pre-defined choice and among each food category he has a choice of selecting items.
            He then enters the no. of attendees expected, the event name and any further particulars. The no. of attendees should be more than 40 and less than 500 as the venues can accommodate up to maximum of 500 persons.

                  Hotel has six venues for the Banquet. A person can approach the Banquet as an individual or as a corporate body. His approach is to book a space for an event. A Birthday party, a reception or a kitty party.

Present System:
The hotel management is maintaining the entire administration process manually. They are getting difficult to transfer data from one counter to another counter, to generate reports of each visitor, to maintain the venu details and status, Food order details.

Proposed System:
The proposed system titled as “Banquet Booking System” deal with the total Hotel Automation System. Here we are mainly concentrating the problem  of hotel management in manual system. With  this automation system, The hotel management as well as visitors easily can access the current status of each venu, the food order type details, room booking details, and they can order easily.

Module Description


 This project is divided into 4 modules, they are
  1. Registration And Login
  2. Banquet(venu)  Booking
  3. Food Order
  4. Room Booking

Registration And Login:
            This module deals with Registration and login process. In registration process we are taking the relevant data from the customer, such as personal Details, Credit card details and contact number.
            In login process we are checking the authorization and authentication of customer who want to login, such as username and password.

Banquet (venu) Booking:
            This module deals with the process of booking system for different venus available in hotel. In this project we are dealing with two types of  venus, Like NIVEDIKA and DEDIKA.
Here a visitor  is going  to select venu depending on the following details.
-Capacity of the venu
-Special Features
-Time Slots

Food Order:
This module  deals with Food order Process. The hotel people are maintaining two types of Food orders.
1)      Package Food Order
2)      Custom Food Order
Package Order type deals with limited number of items in Food order and a fixed price for each person.
Custom order type deals with the interest of the person who is going to order food, depending on our choice. Visitor can select the food category, choose the items and add to the order.

Room Booking:
In this module we are dealing with the process  of booking a particular room. Depending on room type the total expenses are calculated per each day. The types of rooms are, Standard room, deluxe room, Executive rooms.

ARCHITECTURE                      : 3-TIER ARCHITECTURE.
