RECORD TRACKER


1.    Title of the project:  Record Tracker
2.    Abstract of the project:
This project is aimed at developing an online application to providing a computer-based record tracker. The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the world as well with proper login provided. This system can be used as an application to manage the personal details on the Internet and manage all records data entered in the project, provide admin, operator and employee details. In this project the all the record data will be entered with unique record id’s. Through that id the operator and the employee can get the information regarding that. The admin and the operator and the employee he/she can able to communicate through email using the mail service system. Through this project one can easily track the record when he is registered user and if he knows the record id.

The software is fully integrated with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) as well as CMS (Content Management System) solution and developed in a manner that is easily manageable, time saving and relieving one from manual works.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
There are many hospitals which are providing services in several specializations to people. Some are providing services in all specializations. In order to cater the accounting and administration requirements of the hospitals, a generic solution need to be developed. For this purpose we developed this project.

3.    EXISTING SYSTEM
·         The existing system is manual system. Needs to be converted into automated system.
·         Waiting time is more to give order.
·         No proper coordination between doctors, patients and Administrator.
·         Fewer Users - Friendly.
·         Accuracy not guaranteed.
·         Not in reach of distant users.

4. PROPOSED SYSTEM
The development of the new system contains the following activities, which try to automate the entire process keeping in view of the database integration approach.
1.    User friendliness is provided in the application with various controls.
2.    The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible.
3.    There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is under process.
4.    It provides high level of security with different level of authentication.

5. MODULES

The system after careful analysis has been identified to be presented with the following modules:
The modules involved are:                       
     Following are the modules related to Record Tracker:
Ø  Admin
Ø  Operator
Ø  Employee

Admin Module:
  This is the prime module of the project. Admin only the head operator of this project. Admin manage all operator and employee records. Admin can search records based on record id, employee id, based on role. This module has one sub module as manage mails, in this manage mails module the admin can have inbox, Outbox, compose mail, home. Finally he can get reports of all employees based on record id’s.


Operator Module:
This module is the second module of this project. In this module also same functionalities like admin, but he can get only employee details, mails, reports, etc. Operator also have inbox, outbox, compose mail, etc in manage mails. The mails sent by the admin can visible in his inbox. In this module the operator can change his password also.

Employee Module:
This module is the third module of this project. In this module the employee can get all record details, employee details .The employee can also send mails, check mails, etc. The employee can also change his password .Each employee can have his own id’s and each record has unique record id’s .By using id’s only the admin and the operator can communicate with employee module.
